I'm currently attending Qantm College studying animation, but I'm unsure whether to continue or not. I've found that I really don't like actually animating anything. I like drawing and concept art, and I'm having fun building 3D models in Maya, but that's only half the course, the other half is frustrating and uninteresting to me.

Plus I have the opportunity to work for my dad and after my apprenticeship I'd be able to earn more money than I ever would in the games industry. the only downside is that the work is very hard, but the hours are great and I'd have a lot of free time after work, plus no deadlines or overtime. And a minimum of stress.

I have no idea what to do, or even if this course is going to get me a job in this state, and I don't really want to move interstate (or internationally) for a good long while.

Opinions anyone?
